“U.S. exports to Iran – including brassieres, bull semen, cosmetics and possibly even weaponsgrew more than tenfold during President George W. Bush’s years in office even as he accused Iran of nuclear ambitions and helping terrorists. America sent more cigarettes to Iran, at least $158 million worth under Bush, than any other products.”

Yeah, this won’t come back to bite us in the ass.

Maybe the plan is to give them all lung cancer.

It would be more accurate to state that US companies are trading with Iranian companies.  The US (government) is not trading anything.

That’s true.

Who makes bull semen, though? What value does bull semen have? Is that like currency in Iran?

Bull semen is for making more beef.

And Red Bull http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/5753.php (although this appears to be an urban myth).

gosh ... why are you surprised that corporate america values making money over some idiotic concept that's it's wrong to deal with terrorist organizations Huh darth cheney proved that during the 90's when he led Haliburton in dealing with Iran. Rumsfeld was on the board of directors that was working to build a nuclear reactor in North Korea.

It's nothing more than business as usual with the GOP.

It would be more accurate to say that it is just business as usual with, well, businesses.

You are correct, but I find it interesting that even though Iran is aiding in killing our soldiers in Iraq, we can trade with them.   Now Cuba, who is not killing our soldiers, we can't trade with.

Seems a bit strange to me.

America has gone from a country of producers to a country of consumers. We buy all the shit dumped from the sky but we don’t make a damn thing. We need to concentrate on creating American products because that creates American jobs.

When over 90 percent of the items in your household come from China, you know you have a problem on your hands.

Corporate america will never let that happen. U.S labor costs too much cuz we have this funny habit of not working for a dime an hour.
