I would dare say that Krugman knows far more about economics than any of you on this forum, Nobel Prize or not. It is truly laughable that those such as yourselves would hold that against such a man. Lastly that comment regarding Timothy Russert was not only out of place but steadfastly offensive as well. For shame!

Krugman is a neo-Keynesian and has stopped being an economist a long time ago; he is a bucket carrier for the DNC- a political hack of the most vile kind.  I would compare him with Ann Coulter on the right.

Keynesian economics has been discredited for at least 50 years.

(And it was never really followed).

So how do you explain the Nobel Prize then? All his other economists respect? He is a leader in his field. Coulter isn't a leader of anything.

How do you explain the Nobel for Yasser Arafat?  :D

That guy had terrible taste in head gear ;D I swear some of the stuff he wore looked a lot like our dishrags. That's a stone cold fact...I'm not even trying to be offensive, honestly!

I'm not surprised you would dare say such a thing. Now you've gone from defending a child of privilege (Chelsea Clinton) to apologizing for a political hack who likes to be snarky but wets his pants when confronted. For shame!

Suffice it to say that certain Nobel categories have long been recognized as a bit of a joke.
