Jon Huntsman has bet his entire 2012 campaign on a good showing in New Hampshire's Republican presidential primary, and now the former Utah governor is getting some outside help in the state.
Our Destiny PAC, a "super" PAC formed by allies of Huntsman, is launching a minute-long TV ad in the Granite State on Tuesday suggesting the ex-governor is the "someone" Republicans have been waiting for in the GOP nomination fight.
In September, the ex-governor moved his campaign from Florida to New Hampshire, where aides believe he has the best chance of winning.
But Huntsman's poll numbers in the state aren't much better than they are nationally. A recent CNN/Time magazine poll found Huntsman with just 6 percent support in the state—well behind Mitt Romney, who has led the state by an average of more than 20 points virtually all year.
Huntsman has listened to his Aides. They tell him he can win it. Is he that naive to actually believe he can win it. The answer is.....No. He is staying in the game because the Word is, he wants Sec. of State.
My point is why does he need to run in order to be considered for this position. He has the Foreign policy Experience. So why wouldn't he be considered is the better question. Especially with going forward with all matters with the Asian Pacific. Anybody else have a problem with this guy being S.O.S.....?
