Because he is the only candidate who understands the economy.  We are in an economic crisis.  We don't need another NEOCON to distract us with more foreign wars.

what deep economic understanding does paul possess and possess alone....

The other candidates have no clue how the economy works, what caused the current economic crisis, and what to do to mitigate the damage of the economic crisis.

They would continue what the last two clowns have done.....

peter that is quite the load of bs you are attempting to shovel there....one might legitimately question whether any of the others would slash govt to the extent of paul, return to the gold standard or not just audit but dissolve the fed, but i think they all share a common understanding of how we have dug ourselves into this hole....and i would state unequivocally that gingrich is easily as well versed regarding the economy or anything else short of surgery....
