http://motherjones.com/politics/2011/11/map-nuclear-bombs-power-weaponsThe United States currently has 5,113 atomic warheads deployed in silos, bombers, and submarines, mostly in the continental US. That doesn't include thousands of "zombies" being kept in reserve and a backlog of more than 3,000 warheads awaiting dismantlement. Meanwhile, we're telling the world that we're on the path to disarmament, even as we're spending more on the nuclear weapons complex than we did during the Cold War.....snip~
You can check out the map at the link. What I was looking at is when the Pols discuss Civilian nuclear Facitilities. Note how much we have already. Look where they can put any that are built. Is there some reason that we don't use dams like Hoover that will generate power for electricty? Moreso now. What about with use of the flooding of the Mississippi every year wherein we loses billions of dollars.
Creates jobs.....creates energy and or power. What are the dedriments to using this natural means of obtaining a power source? Especially since they were talking about fault lines and all with Nuke Plants and or Facilities. Wouldn't let me put the map up. Even tho Mother Jones says it is all Public knowledge.
