Nope Jets and Broncos week 11 and yep they lost to Tebow. Unbelievable!

Former Packer Johnny Jolly is going away for six years.


Back in October, I wrote briefly about the abbreviated football career and ongoing criminal career of former Green Bay Packers defensive end Johnny Jolly(notes). Now both have come to an end, but his career in the prison laundry is just beginning.

Jolly was sentenced Thursday to six years in prison for violating his probation.

Jolly could not shake the death grip of addiction. His vice was codeine, which got him into trouble with the law and the league. He told ESPN that when the NFL suspended him for one year, he lost control. He described codeine as his only friend because it kept him numb.....snip~

Several key Chargers miss practice.

SAN DIEGO (AP)—The San Diego Chargers remain without several key players as they prepare to face the Chicago Bears on Sunday.

Missing Thursday’s practice were wide receiver Malcom Floyd(notes) (hip), nose tackle Antonio Garay(notes) (hip), outside linebacker Shaun Phillips(notes), right guard Louis Vasquez(notes) (ankle), left tackle Marcus McNeill(notes) (stinger), reserve guard Tyronne Green(notes) (hand) and cornerback Marcus Gilchrist(notes) (hamstring).

Tight end Antonio Gates(notes), who has been bothered this season by plantar fasciitis in his right foot, missed the practice as part of his scheduled rest. Safety Darrell Stuckey(notes) (thigh) was limited.....snip~

SAN DIEGO (AP)—The San Diego Chargers placed Pro Bowl left guard Kris Dielman(notes) on season-ending injured reserve Wednesday due to the lingering effects of a concussion sustained Oct. 23 at the New York Jets.

He originally was expected to miss two games following the concussion and a grand mal seizure suffered on the plane ride home.

The promise of playing seven more games without Dielman was a disappointment to the entire team, which must find a way to continue without one of its best players.....snip~
