Chelsea Clinton will be working on-air for NBC News, the network announced on Monday. The former first daughter will be a "special correspondent" for NBC "Nightly News" and its new primetime newsmagazine, "Rock Center With Brian Williams"--essentially working on stories that fit within NBC's "Making a Difference" franchise, the network said.

In a statement, NBC News president Steve Capus called Chelsea a "remarkable woman" and a "great addition" to the network. "Given her vast experiences, it's as though Chelsea has been preparing for this opportunity her entire life," Capus said. Williams said Clinton "possesses an uncommon understanding of humanity--on city streets, across this country and around the globe."

In a statement of her own, Clinton said, "people who imagine and implement solutions to challenges in their own lives, in their communities, in our country and in our world have always inspired me.".....snip~

Nothing like keeping it in the family.....huh? She got any credentials in the field of Journalism? This is not new. The Clintons have been flooding the World of Media ever since Bilbo was a Govenor of Arkansas. But now since they are at the end of their so called Dynasty they know they need someone that can be in the loop. Who better than their very own blood this time. Course thats Special Correspondant. So that if she wants to run for Office thats still an option which hasnt been taken off the table yet!

Notice her statement has nothing to do with what they asked. Who cares if people inspire her. Did she pursue a Journalism Degree in College? Anything on being an investigative reporter? So nothing to prevent her from spining what the left wants at any given point in time. Lets get someone young to keep up front and out with the youth of America. Keep feeding them the same bullshit. Again lets put someone into a postion where they don't have to answer to the people.

It's time we put an end to this crap. There should be no ties with the world of the media and politcs. Save one. Thats to keep those in government up front and honest with the American people. Making sure they are doing their job and not abusing their representation of the people.

The politicans need to figure out one thing.....they answer to us! There is no avoiding anything. They are in service. Which means they are an open book. 24/7!

NBC has really turned into a wreck, their news sucks, sports nonexistent (except overpaying for the Olympics) and horrible prime time shows. The peacock is looking like a turkey.

We all know that part of the job is being nice to look at. Clinton does not qualify. What were they thinking?

Well in fairness she probably can work a lot of connections thanks to Mom and Dad. That is probably why NBC hired her. She's going to be reporting not anchoring right? NBC News doesn't do the Fox News blonde women anchor thing anyway

With all due respect that woman is not what I would want to see when I turn on the TV.  Can't they just give her a redundant executive position. You know, the kind where you get a paycheck but you don;t really do anything?
