Although it's in the process of gentrification DC is a ghetto so stray gunfire in general is no surprise. That said, this is pretty weird. I wonder why they suspect this Ortega guy

Probably because they found an uzi or something like that in his car nearby that matched the bullets they found.

The guy must be a whack job. First of all, I guess he sped passed the WH and fired a burst?  ??? Did he use his own car? If not, what "items" could he have left that would lead police to him? Sounds like a loon and not a very bright one.

Still seems like stray gunfire to me, but this cat might just be crazy enough to think shooting up the White House would accomplish something.
